Hi Aniqa,

if the graphs are vector based (i.e. if you select the objects they consist of, it doesn't say 'Image' but 'Path' or 'Text', or 'Circle' or 'Rectangle' in the status line at the bottom of the Inkscape window, and when you zoom in, they do not become pixelized, and you did not put them into Inkscape by importing a jpg, png or other bitmap image), then you can just scale them non-uniformly (i.e. stretch or squeeze them) by using the selection tool and dragging on the arrows.

If the images are raster based, (i.e. they get pixelized upon zooming etc.), then the best image quality will be had if you find a way to create them with the correct scaling instead of trying to squeeze or stretch them.

To learn more about how to use the Inkscape program (and its tools), start out with the tutorials that come with Inkscape, at Help -> Tutorials.
You can also visit any of the links from the 'learn' menu section at https://inkscape.org to familiarize yourself with the program.

Kind Regards,
 Maren
