Setting color for Arrow-Heads

Hi,

I made some arrows (drawing a straight line and then giving it an arrow head as an end marker in the stroke style menu).

But when I change the color in the stroke paint menu, only the line changes its color, the arrow heads remain black.

How can I change the color of the arrow heads as well?

There's an extension that does this: Effects -> Modify Path -> Color Markers to Match Stroke.

May I ask though, is there any reasoning behind not making this the default behaviour?
It's pretty annoying, I've run into it today and was even going to report a bug before I discovered it's intentional. Maybe some survey or poll among inkscape users could help if you are not convinced...
Leaving an option to change it manually is fine, but keeping black by default? I believe most users want it to match the color of the line automatically

Besides this Inkscape is a very nice piece of software, one of the highest quality among open source ones.

There's no doubt that this should be the default behaviour, and it's one of the most requested features (bug 165865). But it's a question of someone taking the time to implement it. Also, the fact that's likely to be easier to do in SVG 1.2 (which may still be several years away) than in SVG 1.0/1.1 may have put some developers off doing it now.
