How do i vectorize a pixel image?

I was told to use inkscape to vectorize my pixel images but i am not sure how to do so. I have downloaded the latest verion and i cant figure it out.

Hello!

Automatic tracing (vectorizing) is normally done by importing the raster to inkscape (you can just drag'n'drop it from the file manager), then you should select the raster and choose Path -> Trace Bitmap from the menu.
