How can I save a file in Inscape as JPEG

Hi. I tried to save a file in Inkscape as JPEG. But Inkscape offers me only the folowing file types: svg, svgz, ps, eps, pdf, ps, emf, pov, odg, tex, DXE, gpl, xmal and zip.
Plese help me. Many thanks in advance.

Hi. Ich habe versucht, eine Datei in Inkscape als JPEG zu speichern. Aber Inkscape bietet mir nur die folgenden Dateitypen zum speichern an: svg, svgz, ps, eps, pdf, ps, emf, pov, Antwortanford, tex, DXE, gpl, xmal und zip.

At the moment, the only raster(bitmap) format inkscape exports is PNG. WIth
that you can create a JPEG with a bitmap editing program (like the GIMP).

To export to PNG go to File > Export Bitmap.
