Cant figure out how to overlay on a project

I am working on a svg and I am trying to use a spartan mask outline over the american flag. I have just the outline of the mask and I also have the flag but when I drag the mask over the flag it disappears or cannot be seen, I have gone through all the filters and extensions but cannot find anything that helps. I am pretty sure its gonna be something simple but unfortunately I still cannot figure it out any help would be greatly appreciated Thank You

Hi Ruben,

could it be that the mask is actually *below* the flag?

Try selecting it and using the 'move to top' button in the selector tool's tool bar (or hit 'Pos1' on your keyboard).

If this is not what you mean by 'disappearing', then please try to give an even more detailed description of the objects in your drawing (look at the status bar at the bottom to see what kind of object someting is and in what layer it is.
