inkscape addin

can you please advise if there is a posibilty of an addin to inkscape in the form of a tab and slot generator as is in Qcad.
As many users now are laser project designers this would be a big asset to the use of inkscape.

Hi Brian,

there are already quite a few extensions that deal with tabbed boxes, maybe that's what you're interested in?
