How do I set zoom correction factor above 200?

Asked by P.Kvols

I have a Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga X1. The display resolution is 2560 x 1440. Trying to set the zoom correction factor to match the screen resolution, I meet a limit of 200%. It looks like I need about 235% to make the ruler match the real world screen size.

How do I set the zoom correction factor so that the graphics presented can be easily viewed 1:1?

Hi P.Kvols,

For the limit, I think you should first:
- search the bugs at https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape
- if you don't find one that requests what you want, create a new one for this feature request

And keep in mind that there is a known bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1482877

(which requires you to choose the same unit for the document and the zoom correction factor to make it work at all)

Kind Regards,
 Maren

(although it doesn't appear to work correctly for me..., even if I set them to the same unit.)

Ah - okay. It *only* works for the 1:1 preset zoom factor, so you need to hit 1 on the numpad to zoom to 100+x %... Confusing.

Sigh ... you're right: In version 0.91, the zoom factor appears to have no effect indeen. Regardless, a zoom factor of 200% is simply not enough, given high resolution displays!

Can you help with this problem?
