Linux printer driver for the Primera LX810 color label printer
I want to use the Primera LX810 color label printer on a Ubuntu 14.04 LTS system but I haven't been able to locate a printer driver for it. I did contact Primera asking about a Linux driver and was told that they don't have one and don't antisipate that they will create one.
I have a CD with the Mac and Windows drivers. The Mac drivers are contained in a dmg file and the windows drivers are contained in an exe file. Everything that I have found says that if I should beable to extact a working PPD file from these but when I open them there are no PPD files in either of them.
Does anyone have any suggestions of where to go from here, or already have a drive that will work, or am I just stuck using a Mac or Windows machine.
Thanks in advance for any help.
John
