Hi Rhonda,

to open the document settings dialog, you can either:
- use the icon (next-to-last one in the topmost icon row)
- go via the menu: File -> Document Properties
- use a keyboard shortcut: Shift + Ctrl + D

That said, there is a bug in Inkscape 0.91 that causes minimized dialogs in the dock at the right to not maximize automatically when called up by any of the above. So, look into the dock area at the right of the window to see if your dialog is there, as an icon / a text that runs vertically.

Minimizing is done by clicking on the tiny triangle, maybe you clicked there accidentally the last time you used the dialog.

Sometimes, it also happens that one just doesn't notice the dialog in the dock. You may need to scroll down to find it.

If you're using more than one monitor, you may need to look for the dialog on the other monitor.

Kind Regards,
 Maren
