New sinus curve?

Asked by Granjow

Whatever I do, if I try to render a sinus with x going to more than 2 (*2pi), it becomes a little strange, no more sinus-like. Why that?

thanks,
Simon

You need to increase the "Samples" parameter until you get the desired shape.

The "Samples" parameter tells Inkscape how many points of the function should actually be computed, and then Inkscape interpolates between them using the derivative of the function.
