Hi Iva,

what is 'a print'? Do you mean a pattern, maybe?
If that's the case, please take a look at the links below:

https://tucsonlabs.com/2009/03/19/patterns-with-inkscape/
http://en.flossmanuals.net/inkscape/styling-objects/fill-and-stroke/

If this is not what you mean, please explain it with a little more detail, so we can know how to help you.

Kind Regards,
 Maren

Hi Iva,

you can import raster images into Inkscape via File -> Import.

If you then want to use the image as a pattern (still don't know if that's what you want :-( ), select it, to Object -> Object to pattern.

To apply the pattern to another object, either copy the object and paste its style onto the other object by doing Ctrl+Shift+V, or use the pattern selection dropdown in the fill and stroke dialog.

If you then want to edit the patterns size or direction, or move it a bit, use the pattern handles with the node tool.

Kind Regards,
 Maren
