Export to .emf from .pdf

Asked by Marte

Hi,
I would like to export a drawing in PDF to EMF to use this as a sharp, non-blurry Picture in Word.
My problem is that in my drawing I have several hatched areas (filled polygones). When saving as emf, these areas are shown as hatched rectangles.
Is there a way to show the hatching as it is in the pdf?

This problem does not occur if I choose Export PNG image, but this do not give the disired result in Word regarding sharpness.

Thank you!
Best regards
Marte

Hi Marte,

to be able to help you, we will need a bit of info:
- Your Inkscape version
- Your operating system (and version)
- the files (svg, pdf, emf, please use a file hosting service like dropbox, google drive or framadrop for this, attachments are not supported)

You can also export the png image in a larger size / with a higher dpi value (recommendation: 600dpi), then it will have a printer-friendly resolution.

Kind regards,
 Maren
