Diacritics are not displayed correctly when text placed on path

Diacritical characters are not plotted correctly in certain fonts (e.g. Tengwar Annatar) when text is "Put on path".

Characters are displayed overlapping with other text, or otherwise out of position.

Png image exports available on rquest (but I can't see a way to attach them to this post!)
