number nodes - numbers upside down!

hi

when I use the extension > visualise path > number nodes, the numbers appear upside down!

Please help

Hi Leon,

I can't reproduce this without a file that exposes the problem.
Possible solutions include moving the path, mirroring it, putting it on a new layer, changing its direction - but without a file, it's impossible to say what may help in your case.

Please upload a file that shows the problem somewhere to a file hoster, i.e. dropbox, google drive, ... (not here, attachments to comments or mails in this answers section are not supported).

Leon, thanks for uploading.

You need to do three things:
1. In your settings, first make sure to set:
 Edit -> Preferences -> Behaviour -> Transforms to 'Optimized'

2. Create a new layer. Move the path into that layer (select, Shift + PgUp or PgDown)
3. Nudge the path (i.e. move it a tiny bit)

Then use the Visualize Path -> Number nodes extension again.

There's currently a bug in Inkscape with layer transforms that causes these kinds of problems.
