Hi Roxy,

you will need to use the Fill & Stroke dialog for this, find a good description when you follow these links:

http://en.flossmanuals.net/inkscape/styling-objects/fill-and-stroke/
and
http://en.flossmanuals.net/inkscape/styling-objects/stroke-style/

You can find more info in the manual or in the tutorials linked from our website:
http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/
https://inkscape.org/en/learn/

Kind regards,
 Maren

Thanks, i manage to edit them using stroke style.

A final question, so i have 2 of these line graphs that i want to merge (compare one against the other)

How can i select the line only from one graph and paste into the other without the white background coming too..?

Thanks

Depends on how they belong together.

I would guess that they are grouped.
Look into the status line when selected to confirm.

To ungroup, hit Ctrl+U or Ctrl+Shift+G.

I see, but what i meant is that they are in 2 separate pdf files and i was wondering how can i import them so they can be overlaid in the same file..?

thanks

Hi Roxy,

you can use the 'Import' function in the File menu to import a second (or more) image/file/pdf into your drawing.

Then you delete all the objects you do not need, and move the object you do need into the correct position.

Kind regards,
 Maren
