How to set a swatch for a gradient stop?

Asked by OVERD

Hello!
Is it possible to use swatches in a gradient stops? Maybe I`m missing something, but I didn`t find the way of doing that. I would want to have the ability to quikly change a colors of a whole drawing without the need of manual gradient editing for shadows and highlights.

I don't think so. But you can use a gradient as a swatch.

(A swatch is already a gradient, code-wise. Only those can be reused and named in an SVG-standard-conformant file - I don't think a gradient inside a gradient would be possible).

Kind regards,
