Engineering 305 file ??

Asked by John Redman

I just re-read my instructions and, where I had forgotten and assumed that the 305 Engineering file was in the Grbl software, the instruction actually tell me that it is in Inkscape. As I have downloaded Inkscape 6 times both in Windows and Linux Mint and never seen the screenshot I am told to look for, maybe this IS the place to get help on this. Thanks in advance. I was mistakenly calling it a "308" extension. Sorry for that.

Hi John,

no, we don't have an extension of that name. This is the full list of all extensions that come with Inkscape 0.91:
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~inkscape.dev/inkscape/RELEASE_0_91_BRANCH/files/head:/share/extensions/

Maybe your Grbl program is supposed to copy the file into the extensions directory of Inkscape when you install it?
If so, the order of installing might matter - when Inkscape doesn't exist, there is no folder where Grbl can put the extension.
Just guessing.

Kind regards,
 Maren
