how to convert a photo into a drawing or cartoon image

I have a logo/image of a sunflower that I want to convert to a drawing or cartoon. I'm not a graphic designer so I have little to no experience with inkscape. Any and all help is appreciated!

Hi Linda,

to find an introduction into Inkscape, please take a look at the tutorials that come with it (in Help -> Tutorials).
There's also one about vectorization of bitmap images. Then there's also info about this in our manual: http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Trace.html

If you want to do the drawing part yourself, take a look at the other tutorials, visit https://inkscape.org/en/learn/ and its submenues, and if you get stuck, pose a question to us in the chat or in one of the forums dedicated to Inkscape. See https://inkscape.org/en/community/ .
