can't fugure out how to reduce Inkscape from fullscreen

Asked by Donald Hayes

I have expanded inkscape to fullscreen on my Win 10 machine. This said now the top bar which contains the double square button the - button and the X button are gone. I assume that some key combo will reduce inkscape from fullscreen to regular view but, I am unable to figure it out.

Hi Donald,

usually, F11 or Shift+F11 (this will first hide *everything*, including the dialogs, and then unhide everything) will do the trick.
Also see the keyboard reference here:

Thank you for the prompt response, seems problem solved. Knew it had to be simple but, I couldn't see.
