How do UI make a object pop out of the text

How do I make a county that s in a state pop out at you ?

Hi Jorge,

this sounds like you either want to add a shadow, or extrude a shape.

To add a shadow:
- Select object, then go to Filters -> Shadows and Glows -> Drop Shadow...

To extrude an object:
- Select object, convert to path (Path -> Object to Path), then go to Extensions -> Generate from Path ... -> Extrude
