I seem to have lost the horizontal scroll bar and can't center the page horizontally

I can't move my page side to side, only up and down. The horizontal scroll bar seems to be missing or not working properly and all it does is scroll color cubes, not the page.

could you post a screenshot somewhere and give us the link, if the answers below don't help?
(not here, unfortunately, pictures can't be uploaded in the answers section)

1. Scrollbars can be hidden. First make sure they are visible:
Check: Menu View -> Show/Hide -> Scrollbars

2. Usually, the horizontal scroll bar is *above* the 'color cubes' (= palette).
Sometimes, you can't move it, though, because it is just as wide as the canvas.

You can still pan the canvas:
- hold the space bar down, and move the mouse
or
- hold Ctrl and hit the arrow keys
or
- zoom in (hold Ctrl + move mouse wheel), then use the scrollbar
or
- move an object to the border of the currently visible canvas area - the canvas will move with the object if you hold it there

Just choose an option :) - or post a screenshot, so we can take a look, if this doesn't help. You can use any filehoster that doesn't require a login for this.
