Want to create at circlel with letters following the circle

Hi, I want to create a sort of round logo with text following the edge of the circle - both indside and outside the circle.
How do I go about that?

I have no idea how to start it.

I have worked with patterns but not this type of work.

Hi Zandra,

look into the feature 'Text on Path' in the text menu.

The manual has a few more tips and usage instructions:

You may need two circles for your project.
You can make one of them invisible (transparent) or delete it later (after turning the text into a path (Path -> Object to Path), when you are sure that you never want to edit the letters again).
