How do I increase the size of the red box, or the burning area?

Asked by Dennis Ringleman

I am trying to make an image bigger on the grid and I can't seem to increase the red lines on the laser table. How do I increase the size of the image I want to laser engrave?

Hi,

-> which sort of image ?
-> which grid ?
-> which red lines, where ?
-> which laser table ??

While some people do use inkscape in a laser engraving workfow (with an extension), primarily it is a vector graphic drawing application, in which context i cannot understand anything in your question*, so i did not answer it. You may be able to find more answers in any laser engraving community forum on the web...

*: apart that the answer to "how do i increase the size of X" in inkscape is usually "select X, click on the resizing handles and move them, that will resize X", which seemed too simple an answer.

> Does my question not deserve an answer? We tried to pull up the tutorial, but the only one we could find was in Spanish, and I don't know that language. Why wont someone just tell me how to do this, and maybe I can get my project finished and make a little money? Thank you, I think.
-> which tutorial ?

Can you help with this problem?
