When I draw an ellipse and print it, the background comes out black. I reinstalled the program but this didn't help

Asked by Alan Welch

I have installed and used Inkscape for a while. Now if I draw an ellipse, either by itself or as part of a drawing, the entire background prints black, even though the ellipse is the correct colour. I reinstalled the program, but, this did not help.

Any suggestions?

Al Welch

Hi Maren:

Thanks for your reply. I had already discovered that converting to a .pdf makes it print correctly. I guess I will have to wait for further developments.
