How do I add elastic within a design?

I would like to use different size elastic for different designs. I have a jacket where I would like to add elastic to the sleeves at the wrist and also at the waist. I would also like to add elastic within a dress at the waist.

Hi TwinkleDooley,

it sounds to me like you are using Inkscape from inside FashionDesign Pro.

Inkscape is a completely unrelated software, it is only shipped together with the templates from FashionDesign Pro.
As of now, we do not even know if they ship a modified or the original version of our program.

Please ask their support for help, they are the ones who should know about elastics and clothes design.
