connect letters of text

I am using text that connects, 'cursive' type text, and I want all letters to connect so that when I upload the image in my vinyl cutting software, it will be a continuous cut. It always cuts each letter individually and that is not feasible on some of my projects.

Hi Robert,

convert your text to path, then ungroup, select all letters, do Path -> Union. Correct all remaining errors manually with the node tool.
Else, all letters will stay the individual vector objects they are in the font.
