how to assign a pattern to an object

I have a jpg image pattern that I want to assign to an object that I draw using inkscape. How can I do that ?

Hi Bell,

there's some info about this in our documentation:
http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/Attributes-Fill-Stroke.html#Attributes-Patterns

The basic steps are:
- import image into Inkscape
- go to Object -> Pattern -> Object to pattern
- assign the new pattern to the object where you want to use it, using the Fill and Stroke dialog.
