dxf export

i am struggling with a dxf export of a file with all circles. Export in dxf when the cirkels are objects results in an empty file.
When I transfer the objects to a path, then the export works but my CAM SW cannot find any mid point so I can not define a drill function to the circle. Exporting lines do result in a dual line structure in dxf that seemly belong together. At random sometimes I can assign a drill function to a cirkel, but most of the time I can not.
Even when taking the svg file, importing it in AI and do and export in dxf course problems. Part of the circles are again not assignable to a geometry.
What do I do wrong?
I want simply to make a dxf that is standard enough to be included in my CAM SW so hat a circle is a circle with a centre point.
