Cannot trace text pdf

need to save a pdf as an svg for Cricut Design Space will not trace bitmap. How do I do so?

sorry, I'm not really sure I understand what you want to do.

I assume you want to open a pdf, and then save it as svg? Are there any bitmaps in your pdf?

Or does it only contain vector contents? Vector contents can't be traced, it *is* already vector.

Same for fonts/text. They consist of vector information plus text information. Though, they are not paths yet. And paths is what your Cricut wants. Use Path -> Object to Path to turn text into a path.
