can I convert a photo to a beading pattern

I am trying to find a software program that allows me to convert a photo into a beading pattern. Can I do this with Inkscape??

Hi Gail,

I've got no idea what a beading pattern would look like.

You can use Inkscape to turn a foto into a vector drawing, and maybe that is what you want. Please see
