How change size of canvas

Asked by SSankey

I am creating an infograph for a poster. The final size of the poster will be 73.5 cm wide and 111.7 cm tall. I have tried changing the size of the canvas so that I can scale the diagram properly, but the changes aren't working. I'm unsure how to alter the size of the canvas and then scale the infograph/diagram properly.

Hi SSankey,

how did you try to change the canvas size?
The usual way is Shift+Ctrl+D (document settings), then select a size or enter one.

Then press F1 to use the selection tool, Ctrl+A to select everything, hold down Ctrl to preserver the aspect ratio and pull on the resize handles to adapt the size of your drawing.

If this does not work for you, we will need further information:
- operating system
- Inkscape version and download file
- what did you try

Regards,
 Maren

Which platform are you operating on? A viable, frequently endorsed workaround if at once printing from Inkscape fails, is to store a duplicate as PDF and print the PDF document with your preferred PDF viewer (e.G. Adobe Reader), accessing the printer options for tiled printing from there https://apkfleet.com/easy-poser-pro-apk/

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask SSankey for more information if necessary.
