0.91: Tweak tool undo deform in one action

Asked by OVERD

In the last version (0.91) I`ve noticed that when I edit an object with the Tweak tool (Push path mode), it generate many points in Undo history. It is unconvenient because now I have to press Ctrl+Z multiple times to undo the last path editing action, and there is pretty easy to miss the point where you start to Undo some earlier action. In 0.48 I needed to press Ctrl+Z one time. Is there any way to change Tweak tool behavior in 0.91 so it woudn`t generate many undo points while performing one operation?

Hi OVERD,

I cannot reproduce this on Linux Mint 17.1 with the official Ubuntu package.
I only get one history item per mouse drag, and I guess that is the intended behaviour.
If this is different for you, it's probably a bug (or your mouse/pen+graphics tablet produces more clicks than it should).

Could you check if mouse or graphics tablet pen are working correctly (maybe using the pencil tool and watching the history)?

If there is no parallel problem, and you can reproduce the problem, please report a bug - else you should maybe look if the same happens in other applications, and with another mouse, too, first.

I`ve found the solution. Need to uninstall Inskcape, delete this folder:
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Inkscape
Then install it again. Now it works as it should.
