How do I take cutting files from Inkscape to Sillhoute please?

I've bought a silhouette svg file and I couldn't open it, so I was sent a link with this software. I've opened the file in Inkscape, but how do I then take it to my silhouette for cutting? Sorry if it's obvious, but I'm not great with tech. Still learning.

Hi Charmaine,

I think the silhouette devices all come with their own software, called silhouette studio. You should open the svg file with that program and send to your device from there.
Look for tutorials for that software on google and youtube - I don't think you need Inkscape for this ;) (unless, of course, it was silhouette studio which did not want to open the svg file, then you might want to edit the file with Inkscape first)
