no support for the "vector-effect=non-scaling-stroke" property

I am using a 3rd party program (front panel designer) that has an optional .svg output. Howvwer, when rendered in inkscape, engraved text that uses the "vector-effect=non-scaling-stroke" property renders as smudged characters.

Hi ruffrecords,

this property is part of the specification for TinySVG 1.2 and of the (not yet released) specification for SVG 2.0.
The current stable Inkscape version was developed to be compatible to the older SVG specification, which did not have this property.

I just tested this with the pre4 release candidate for the next version, and it also does not support the property (yet).

You could add yourself to the supporters of that bug report, or make a new one (because this is not exactly the same, the reporter wanted hairlines).
