Inkscape

No outline shows on box when I deselect fill

I am trying to draw a box in inkscape and no outline shows. When I have a fill colour the box appears, but when I deselect fill everything disappears. Please assist.

Hi Rob,

it seems you need to set a proper color or a width for the outline.

Make sure
- your outline is not transparent
- your outline has a color which you can see (not white, if the background is white)
- your outline has a width
- your outline color has its 'alpha' set to maximum (that is the transparency channel of the color)
