Hi Michele,

you can set the number of colors in the dialog for vectorizing bitmaps. The corresponding parameter can be found under 'Multiple Scans' -> 'Scans'. If you check 'Remove background', you will need 4 scans, else it will probably be 5 scans (one additional scan for the color of the background).
