printing - object does not print

I have created many printed circuit board layouts using Inkscape without issue. The current one I am working on does not print to my printer nor to PDF. If I delete the majority of the objects it prints the remaining objects. There are 635 objects in the image all on one layer. Please advise.

What exactly happens when you try to print?
Which version do you use? Which system are you on?

(Just to make sure: Are all objects placed on the 'page' displayed by Inkscape?)

The printer and/or Adobe produces a blank page. All the objects that I want to print show on my screen. I have version 0.48. The system is Windows 7.

Could you check if this bug report (https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1021237) does apply to your problem?

Problem fixed. Not all objects were at 100% opacity. Thank you for your help!
