Reported Bug deleted w/ no explanation

Several weeks ago, I submitted a question (re: Website) and was told to submit a bug request. After joining the forum through LaunchPad, I submitted a bug request (correction to web site) and someone deleted it with no explanation. Web site not fixed, my status shows as though I had never submitted a bug request.

Your bug report was not deleted (it was reassigned to the project which tracks the new inkscape website):
