Open the CDR in Corel Draw and export it as an SVG file.

http://sk1project.org/modules.php?name=Products&product=uniconvertor used to do CDR files to some extent and for some versions.

If you can't do either of those then you need to post the version of CDR file it is and what specific problem you have with conversion/import.
