can you import a PDF file ?

inscape down loaded ok. when i try to import a file from my c drive documents inscape states not responding HELP

If it's a very large file, it might be just taking a while to load. Depending on you system RAM, even a 5 mb file might take a little longer.

Exactlly how did you try to import the PDF? Was Inkscape already open? Did you use File menu > Import? Or did you use Open With from file manager?
