Inskape is in dark grey, how to change?

After a new install the Inskape is in a dark Grey window, can I Change this in a friendly white/light Grey anyhow?

If you're on a Window operating system, you likely installed the (unofficial) 64-bit version. Afaik, it can't be changed.

I've been thinking of making a new icon set, that can be seen more easily there, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

If you install the 32-bit version (http://inkscape.org/en/download/windows/) it has a white window color. 32 vs 64 makes no difference unless you need work on very large files (over 2 mb).

If you're on a Linux system, there is a way to change it, but I don't know how. Maybe someone else will know (assuming you reply with your system info).

Yes, you're greate. Thanks a lot, I must installed realy the 64-bit for my Windows 7.
Now it's the "normal" window-color.
