the circle doesnt have any color and i cant transfer color

when I use the circle icon ,the circle isn't shaded in with color nor can I put color into the circle.also I cant make lines with colors and cant adjust the with of coloring

Probably the last time you use that tool, you made that object transparent. Select the circle, then look at Fill and Stroke dialog. Make sure A slider is all the way to the right (value 255). Also, make sure Opacity is 100% (all the way to right).

You may have done the same thing with whatever tool you're using to draw "lines".

If those things don't help, we may need more info. Please let us know :-)
