pdf file size reduction options

I have an svg file that is 3 Mb. When I save it or print it as a pdf it becomes a 27.7 Mb file. Is there any way to reduce this file size?

In order to reduce pdf file size avoid using operations that are not supported natively in pdf.
- filters and blur
- I am not shure for transparency
On existing pdf uncheck the option "rasterize filtereffects"

Also you can lower rasterization dpi to reduce needed memory size.

both options will change/decrease your pdf result of details.

I lowered the rasterization of the embedded photo which got the file down to a more reasonable file size.
