improving visibility of fine lines

Asked by Steven Drake

Because of the requirements of the laser cutter that I am using, I create line drawings with black lines that must have a thickness of 0.001 inch. Unless I zoom way in, the lines appear as grey on the screen, presumably because of their narrow width. This makes them difficult to see. My eyesight is not perfect, but is not bad enough that I need corrective lenses just yet. Is there a way to make the lines more visible? Ideally, I would want them to show 1 pixel in thickness, and black in color, no matter how far I am zoomed out. (If I zoom in far enough, then I would expect the width to show greater than one pixel, but always black in color.) I have looked around but I do not see any options/preferences that might accomplish this. Any suggestions? Thanks!
