Does Inkscape CLI export to PDF support <image> element?

I want to use an SVG that has multiple <image> elements that reference SVGs via http.

Does Inkscape's CLI tool support this when exporting this SVG to a PDF?

No - Inkscape only loads images references to the local system.

Note that support for linking SVG images via <image> tag is currently limited (the content is rendered via gdk pixbuf loader (librsvg), i.e. rasterized at a fixed resolution, also in the exported PDF file created via CLI).
