ive created a word in text but cant figure out how to click on just one letter at a time

Hi,

It depends on what you're trying to achieve. If you want to do something text-related (like bold, change font, or change kerning) then you just choose the text tool, and click on your text.

If you want to eg rotate 1 letter or do something you couldn't do with a text, like manipulating points individually, you should first convert your text to a path (path > convert to path) then ungroup the result (object > ungroup).

Yes. I found the group and ungroup lines.
