Inkscape

my drawing is now a bitmap. I can not go back and edit any part of my drawing.

I created a drawing complete with text etc. I go to open it back up in inkscape today and its a pixilated image that resembles a bitmap. Where is my original drawing? I had saved it to my desktop as a png and a SVG but now it can't be edited? HELP!!!

how many files do you see in your directory ?

Do you find your files in the File/open recent menu ?

Which os do you use ? Maybe try the system search tool to search for recent files

Just to clear the room of it's elephant ;) make sure you open the SVG version, as the PNG export is a rasterized version...
