extra white space around top and sides

Hello community,
I am finished and want to print from pdf file, converted from svg. there is extra white space in top and to right side of my work which will print as well. can I close in the space?

Hi,

First you should go to File > Document Properties and set your page size according to your physical sheet of paper (A4 for EU, Letter for US, ...), and then scale your whole drawing to fit the page ( CTRL A to select all, CTRL G to group, then either resize using the handles or type in the size of your page in the w and h fields just above the canvas).
Beware of your printer's boundaries ! Not all the surface of the page is printable and you shouldn't be able to print in the 1st centimeter all around your page.
