Freehand drawing by clicking mouse and anchoring points at frequent intervals

Asked by Paul Wigmore

I suffer from a shaking hand. Ihave been using old ClarisWork Draw and I was able to draw freehand by clicking at short intervals. These points became free to be moved at will. Is there a similar tool in Inscape, please?

Hi,

You can do it with the Bezier tool (SHIFT + F6) : click on a first point, then click to place the second point and keep the left mouse button down xhile you move your mouse, to create a curved line.

You can also draw straight lines (with short, "normal" mouse click, then use the Node tool (F2) to select and move any node (or convert this node to a round one, etc. ...)

Regards
