Cut a shape along a path

I want to cut a circle into two shapes along a path draw through the circle.

In my case, the path is a Bezier curve.

I can see how to clip using shapes but I can't figure out how to split a shape along a path.

Is this even possible?

Hi,

You have to first transform your circle to a path (Path > Object to path) then select bothyour circle and bezier line and either choose Path > Division or Path > Break Apart (depending on the effect you want to achieve).
